* Concert event to benefit The Dillon Flanigan Foundation
On Sunday April 2, 2006 at Toad's Place in New Haven, a benefit concert will take place to support a very special little boy in Connecticut. Dillon Flanigan is a 2-year-old boy from Derby who suffers with a rare genetic condition that only affects one in a million. Keeping Dillon at home with his family where he thrives, requires extensive nursing care. Medical costs are astronomical, running tens of thousands of dollars per month. Health insurance only covers a fraction of the cost of Dillon’s care. The Dillon Flanigan Foundation was setup to offset some of these costs, to assist other families with needs similar as the Flanigan’s, and to aid children’s hospitals caring for kids like Dillon.
The first annual "Rock for Dillon" to Toads Place on Sunday, April 2nd from 6:30P.M - 11:00P.M. Connecticut’s most talented musicians, including Eight To The Bar, The Dogfaced Boy, and New York City’s own legendary performer Alyson Faith are donating their efforts to raise money for the Dillon Flanigan Foundation. The award winning Irish step dancing O’keefe School will kick off the show.
